Database corrupted

I use portable firefox on a USB hard drive, and after have unplugged a bit too fast the usb key, a lot of files became corrupted.
The storage folder is okay and I can see the web pages when I click on the html file,
BUT the SQL database is dead (as well as its backup).
Is there a way to rebuild the database from scratch using the data in the storage folder?
thanks
  • Is there a way to rebuild the database from scratch using the data in the storage folder?
    No—the storage folder only contains snapshots, PDFs, and other attached files.

    What makes you say the database is dead? Have you attempted to run the database through the DB Repair Tool? (That won't work if the database is completely unreadable, but it will fix basic corruption.)
  • The DB repair tool doesn't seem to work.
    I uploaded then waited, then waited, then...
    well
  • How big is the database file?

    1) Try a different browser.

    2) Try zipping the database file first.
  • The database is 7Mo
    And I have a T1 connexion(optic fiber).. ^^;
  • Well, try again and/or try a different browser.
