Over quota with most ZFS files deleted

I have 100 Mb free storage and am getting the 'over quota' warning message and don't know why. I used 'Delete selected item from library...' on all but about 13 files in ZFS. I believe I am now using less than 10 Mb of ZFS. I still get the the over quota message on 77KS8ARK.zip (264KB) on my desktop. I use 'Empty Recycle Bin' after deleting files.

I also own three Groups. None have ZFS file attachments.

I use both a desktop and a laptop PC. Both PC clients and the zotero.org web page indicate 'My Library' has 401 items. Synching the laptop produces the same over quota message but on a different directory 5IAR7TUF,zip (265KB). Also, the desktop has 449 directories and the laptop 399 directories in their respective local Zotero Storage folders.

I have not tried the 'Purge files from personal library' option. I did not want to chance losing the remaining file associations. And I am not sure I need 1 GB.

Any ideas on next steps are appreciated.

Jim
  • Don't use "Empty recycle bin"-- you need to empty the trash within Zotero to free up space.
  • Thanks. That worked. Both Zotero trash folders are now empty. Both PCs now synch. Storage usage is now 76%. That still seems high. I will look at the ZFS files.

Directory count is now 462 on the laptop and 471 on the desktop.
  • I went through 'My Library' at zotero.org and found 26 files using 7.8 MB of storage. My Settings>Storage page says I am using 76.4 MB. Is there another way to see what files are using ZFS?
  • Browsing your library on zotero.org will not show website snapshots but they still take space towards your quota.
