Chronicle of Higher Education?

The Chronicle is listed as in the Zotero compatible sites list, yet I was trying to get bibliographic info from a Chronicle article today and saw no Zotero icon in the location bar. Am I missing something?

I can't seem to get it working either. Seems the translator is not working.

I've posted an updated translator to the zotero-dev list. When it hits clients, things should start working again.

I'm still not seeing the icon in the location bar for Chronicle articles. I'm not seeing it for the NY Times either, so maybe I just don't have things figured out yet since I downloaded Zotero only this morning -- but I *can* get an icon on Amazon pages. Hate to be thick-headed, but what do I do to get things to work on those pages where I don't see an icon? I'm running Firefox 3.6.3 and Zotero 2.0.3.

The Chronicle translator was pushed and it should start working for you within 24 hours (you can update translators in the Zotero preferences rather than waiting).

Please start a new thread for the NYT issue and give a sample URL that doesn't work. (FWIW, the NYT translator is still working for me.)

Woohoo! The Chronicle translator is working now -- and the NYT. Took the updater a little churning, but everything's up to date now. Maybe that was the whole problem. Hope so. Thanks!

I've updated my translators, but I'm getting the "error - check known translator issues" message whenever I try to save an item from the Chronicle of Higher Education. Is it broken again?

Sorry I didn't provide a URL before: I couldn't get it to work on anything, so I thought it wouldn't matter. But it seems to be a Chronicle blogs issue. I *did* get it to work on this article:
http://chronicle.com/article/The-Unconference-Technology/65651/

However, it throws an error for me on this:
http://chronicle.com/blogs/profhacker/the-second-day-of-thatcamp/23068

and on this search when I try to save all references:
http://chronicle.com/search/?search_siteId=5&contextId=&action=rem&searchQueryString=thatcamp

However, in that search, if I select only the article with that first URL ("The 'Unconference': Technology Loosens Up the Academic Meeting"), it works with no error.

I don't believe blogs ever worked - the problem appears to be that now they're detected as translatable.

Yep, they definitely are detected as translatable. And they appear in the Chronicle's own search results.

Blogs certain used to be translatable-- they were just a little broken for several months.

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/The Chronicle of Higher Education.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data).

It should start working again. If this works for you, please post here so that I can submit this change to be pushed to all users.
