Sync wheel does not stop ID 1469136816

Hey! I recently started using zotero on my mac with the Word Integration and I have stored about 20 books so far (not that much I think) :). Last night when I was writing on my thesis, I have seen that the sync wheel does not stop anymore. Unfortunately, the library on zotero is not up2date. What can I do? is it possible to delete the whole library on zotero and in firefox and import the backup? What happens with the citations I have made in word so far?

    Make sure you've updated to Zotero 2.1.8 -- the previous version had a syncing problem.
