Upgrade StorageHarvard Reference 1
Hello,
I am really, really bad in programming, therefore I would be very pleased if someone can help with my problems... I chose Harvard Reference 1, which works pretty fine for me. I just used German as language setting and already managed to change the german u.a. into et al. Next I wanted up to 5 author in the bibliography, so I changedthe 3 into 5 in this part:
<citation et-al-min="3" et-al-use-first="1" et-al-subsequent-min="3" et-al-subsequent-use-first="1"
The problem now is, that also in the the text also 5 authors appear instead of only one (before it stated 3, so somehow I need to change the numbers in a different way. I just don't see how... I think I already tried every combination with one time 5 and 3 times 1 and so on... So I would be very happy if you could explain the part I changed to me, I dont't really understand anything about programming and just tried to use topics I found...
Next problem is, I sometimes have things like this in my text:
(C.M. Dobson et al, 2005)
(Christopher .M. Dobson et al, 2005)
or
(Christopher. Michael. Dobson et al, 2005)
and I don't see why... I just want it that way:
(Dobson et al, 2005)
or (Dobson 2005) (the easier way, I don't care about that...)
Can anyone explain to me, what I need to change for this? I noticed that in the style Harvard Reference 7 (de) this seems to be fine - but there I would have to make several other changes, so this doesn't make my life easier...). I also tried to compare those styles but I seem to have changed lots of shit instead of the right things..
I also want to supress the URL and the Heruntergeladen am (available at...) part in the bibliography but I think I might find the solution for this by myself (up to now, I deleted this parts for all entries, but I believe in a more sophisticated way for this...)
If you know links where someone explained al this already, that would help a lot. I really tried hard by myself but I am running out of time (I have to finish my diploma thesis next week...)
I don't think this is important, just in case: I use the latest word-Plugin for Zotero for Word 2007 on a windows 7 computer...

1. Ich muss unbedingt die blöden Vornamen oder Abkürzungen davon wegbekommen und habe keine Ahnung warum es die überhaupt manchmal anzeigt...
Das macht mein style obwohl die Zotero-Einträge Vornamen und Nachnamen trennen...
Ich hab versucht, meinen Style mit einem anderen (Harvard Reference 7 (de)) zu vergleichen, da ich diese Problem dort nicht hatte (dafür andere). Aber ich verstehe größtenteils Bahnhof und wenn ich auf gut Glück die Teile übernehme, die eventuell dafür in Betracht kommen könnten, passiert alles mögliche nur mit ner ordentlichen Zitierweise hats nix mehr zu tun)
2. Außerdem wäre et al. kursiv schön (wenn das nicht allzu kompliziert ist), die entsprechenden Fornbeiträge versteh ich einfach nicht und ein copy-paste an diverse stellen im style war nicht von Erfolgt gekrönt.
und
3. eine automatische Unterdrückung der Anzeige der Homepage und des Abrufdatums wäre praktisch (aber falls das zu kompliziert ist nicht unbedingt nötig, da ich das auch von Hand machen kann). Ich zitiere keine Webseiten, habe dafür manche Paper nicht als PDF (oder das mit dem Metadaten abrufen klappt nicht) bzw. Bücher, da will ich nicht immer Pubmed oder amazon in der Bibliographie haben. Meine Lösung, das direkt zu löschen ist u.U. doch umständlicher als die Anzeige ein für alle Mal zu unterdrücken, oder?
4. Wenn mir jemand die bedeutung der 4 Zahlen in diesem Term erläutern kann, würde mir das manches erleichtern, denn so gnaz hab ichs wohl doch noch nicht kapiert:

meine Vermutung:
a - bis einschließlich dieser Anzahl werden Autoren alle aufgelistet
b - ab wievielen autoren et al angezeigt wird
c - wieviele aufgelistet werden sollen, falls es mehr als a autoren gibt
d - ab wievielen autoren et al angezeigt wird für mehr als a autoren
Wenn ich immer nur einen Autor möchte, muss ich dann a=1, b=2, c=1, d=2 setzen?
Ich hoffe nun wird es etwas klarer, was ich möchte, der erste Punkt ist der wichtigste...
2. Nicht ganz leicht, aber wenn Du
<et-al font-style="italic"/> direkt ueber </names> in dem entsprechenden Macro einfuegst funktioniert das
3. Nicht wirklich - Paper und Buecher die nicht online sind, sollten auch keine URL haben, insofern bist Du da besser beraten die wirklich zu loeschen. Ansonsten kannst Du aber einfach die Zeile loeschen:

a - Fuer das erste Mal, dass ein Werk zietiert wird: ab dieser Zahl Autoren wird et-al verwendent
b - Fuer das erste Mal, dass ein Werk zietiert wird: So viele Autoren werden vor et-al angezeigt
also, wenn Du immer nur einen Autor haben willst wuerdest Du 2 und 1 eingeben (allerdings ist das sehr ungewoehnlich - zwei Autoren werden eigentlich immer angezeigt - 3 und 1 ist der Standard fuer Harvard).
c & d sind das gleiche fuer nachfolgende Verweise - wenn fuer die das gleiche gilst, kannst Du sie komplett weglassen, also

Die Einstellungen sind nur fuer Belege im Text, fuer die Bibliographie werden sie nochmal einzeln festgelegt.
Ich hatte zu verquer um tausend Ecken gedacht...
Achso, die Bücher und Paper sind zwar größtenteils auch online, aber ich hab die nur online gesucht um nicht alles von Hand eintippen zu müssen - also ist eine URL zumindest unnötig. Da darüber hinaus keiner sehen muss, dass ich die erst in der letzten Nacht vorm Abgabetermin angeguckt hab... jetzt kann ich mirs sparen, von 170 Einträgen die URLs zu löschen, danke :)
