Partial read of Call Number/Not Reading URLs, etc.

Curiosity question (that I think I know the answer to...): I'm working on a reference project for one of the high ups at George Mason. I've been using Zotero to track the citations, and nothing catastrophic has happened. I'm finding however that Zotero is not capturing the URL, and is only grabbing partial snips of the Call Numbers... This makes it a royal pain to go back and visit the stable URL, because I have to search the catalog with a partial call number that could be used by a thousand books. Is this a translator mishap on the Zotero end, or is this a flaw in the metadata available through masons _Fantastic_ catalog? (if Innovation lives at Mason, it does not reside in Fenwick.)

    not capturing the URL is on purpose - Zotero is capturing bibliographic data and the URL to a specific library catalog entry isn't relevant (i.e. you'd never want this cited). The partial call number is more likely a GMU problem, but might be fixable - provide examples and get in touch with the library staff.

    For your purposes, though, this should do exactly what you want:

    Gotcha on the citation portion, but unless I'm wrong, Zotero used to capture a stable URL so that you could click on a citation in your library and it would take you to the page, but the link you provided dos what I need. The reason I am asking the question is because I am library staff... I just wanted to make sure this is something I need to take to systems. I would rather deal with y'all on the forums than with systems... Thanks for the advice.

    I know have another question, and this is a dumb one. Where is the Locate button located??? I've looked at the documentation, and gone through the general tab to preferences, which all looks fine, but I don't actually have a locate button... I'm running 2.1.6 on an XP.

    The Locate menu is located at to right of the search box, above the right column of the Zotero pane (on Windows the alignment is off, which made me overlook it as well at first).

    That was incorrect for a library catalog.
