Problem with Openoffice and display of author-date citations
I'm using the Openoffice plugin and an Author-Date citation style (currently the American Sociological Association style, but the problem is replicated with any of them).
The problem is as follows: for some entries with more than one author, the authors' full names are displayed, rather than simply their last names.
So for example, a two author citation in the text will read (Jim M. Smith and Sally R. Jones 2002) rather than (Smith and Jones 2002). If I fix it manually, when I refresh the bibliography the problem reappears. This only seems to occur some of the time and I can't figure out why.
Any ideas? Thanks!
