LibreOffice 3.4-RC1 plugin install bug

I installed latest Zotero plugin for LibreOffice/OpenOffice but the Zotero toolbar in LibreOffice was not displayed. I checked in Firefox4 and the extension correctly said that the plugin was installed successfully. No error were given during the installation of the FF4 extension.

Using the FF4 extension feature to "Reinstall the Zotero-Libreoffice" the list of LibreOffice installation path is empty and I need to use the "manual install" for get the plugin work.

I can confirm that this bug is present also with LibreOffice 3.3.2

System details:

OS: Windows7 32bit
Browser: Firefox 4.0.1
ZoteroExtension: 2.1.6
ZoteroOpenoffice integration: 3.5a1

Drop me a line if further details or tests are needed! :)
  • What directory is LibreOffice installed in?
  • I used the default LibreOffice installation path:
    C:\Program Files\LibreOffice 3.4

I'm not an expert in FF extensions, but the plugin should check the Windows Registry (if FF is under Windows) looking for any LibreOffice installation..

The issue could be caused by the new *feature* of LibreOffice that allows multiple installations to be performed side-by-side (while only one running instance is allowed).

    Regards
