This is a great tool. Some further requirement:
1.If it can detect duplications and support automatically generated bibtex keys just like JabRef does, I can abandon JabRef then.
2. the caption bar is not displayed when inserting citation, I can't move the window
  • bibtex key is better than item id because it is meaningful(human readable) and more important, if you delete one and insert it back again, the same content tends to use the same key, so it won't break the document which used the previous deleted one only if the referenced item is existed in database, no matter where it is.
  • BibTeX keys have been discussed quite a bit. Search if you want details on some proposed refinements.

    A machine-generated item ID is non-nullable and unique, and possibly unmutable. I don't think we're going to need to have better bibtex keys at the expense of item IDs.
