Editing and Resaving PDF files in Zotero Library
Even after a bit of digging online, I am still not quite sure how to re-save a PDF file to my Zotero library.
For instance I have on my synched library a PDF paper. If I double click on the PDF in the Zotero library, it opens in Firefox through Foxit reader (my default pdf reader) with no problem. I then highlight or add notes to the document. Then when I go to re-save I can save a copy to my computer, but can't figure out how save to modify the version on the Zotero server.

seems to suggest that this file ought to automatically save back to the Zotero server, but that doesn't seem to be the case for me.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

dstillmanYou just need to save it back to the original location. If the file has a newer modification time, it will be synced back up to the server.

adamsmithyou'd have to save it back to the same location it opened from - are you? Also, to be perfectly clear, you open the pdf from inside your local Zotero library, not from the online library at zotero.org, right?
