Toolbar in LibreOffice, bunt nothing happens

Hello,

I recently install a new OS on my laptop, and softwares too. So I have the last Zotero and wordprocessor (respectively 2.1.6 and 3.5a1).

The toolbar appears in LibreOffice, but when I clic any button nothing happens...

OS : kubuntu 11.4
Firefox 4.0.1
LibreOffice 3.3.2

I installed the dbg versions for both Firefox and LibreOffice, and tried to launch them from a command line to get textual results (as advised in http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/17164/toolbar-in-openoffice-but-nothing-happens/). I also tried to restart each soft, and the computer itself. I never get any message in the Konsole, and nothing still happens...

Any idea ?

    Almost certainly this:

    http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/17773/solved-openoffice-plugin-not-starting-ubuntu-1104-firefox-40/#Item_3

I really ought to change the name to libreoffice in the title but old habits die hard. I've used OO for ten years.
  • Hello,

I missed that post (how could I!).
But alas it does not work for me... Zotero still unusable...
    Thank you nervertheless.

What happens if you try to enable the extension in libreoffice?
  • You are a genius! It works!
Didn't know i had to activate the extension in libreoffice (I used OpenOffice until now and for about ten years too).

    Thank you very much

  • I'm updating the troubleshooting here:
    http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#clicking_toolbar_buttons_does_not_have_an_effect_libreoffice

I don't have LO at the moment - which extension needs to be enabled and under what menu path exactly?
  • To activate the extension in LibreOffice :

    Tools > Extension Manager
Select "Zotero OpenOffice Integration" and clic the "Activate" button.
