ideas.repec.org: some pages can't be imported

Some pages from ideas.repec.org could not be imported (saved). The message says "Could Not Save Item"

e.g. http://ideas.repec.org/a/fip/fedreq/y1997ifallp23-48.html (if I am allowed to post a link here)

but with others it runs smoothly (as usual ;)). e.g. http://ideas.repec.org/p/nbr/nberwo/11992.html

Does anyone know the solution?

Many thanks.
  • I have the same problem, is there anything one can do about it? have the developers already tackled this issue?
  • The problem is not on our end. RePEc is only partially functional right now, and automated citation data is not currently available. Per their home page: "IDEAS has moved to a new server. Some parts of the site are not yet functioning properly"

Any news on this? I (still?) cannot import some of the articles from ideas.repec.org, e.g. http://ideas.repec.org/p/iza/izadps/dp4595.html
Sure that everything is well with the translator? I do see the relevant info in the source code of the webpage (<META NAME="citation_...")
I cannot find the quote above on the IDEAS website, also not by googling it.
    Many thanks!

By the way, I am using Zotero 1.0.10
By not being able to import I mean that there IS the journal icon on the URL bar, but when I click it, I get an error message "Article could not be saved. An error occured while trying to save this article. If this problem persists, contact the author of the translator." (I am translating this from German).
  • Problem still exists. I am now using Zotero 2.0.6. I saw that there were some fixes made with regards to translators in 2.0.4, but apparently not for this problem. It seems that the problem is series specific, i.e. if one paper out of e.g. a discussion paper series cannot be saved, all cannot be saved. E.g. the DIW Berlin SOEPpapers or the IZA Discussion Papers.
BTW: The Godoy/Stiglitz paper mentioned by wertamaki above is not imported correctly. The full author name is inserted into the last name field, leaving the first name field blank.
