I downloaded the 1.0.3 update, and now I am unable to drag items into either collections or tags. I am, however, still able to add tags with the Add Tag button. Help, please?
Does Report Errors (under the Actions (gear icon) menu) became activated after you attempt to drag? If so, send in an error report and post the Report ID it provides at the end here.
Also, is this on Mac/Windows/Linux, and what kind of item (parent item, standalone attachment or note, child attachment or note) are you trying to drag?
The one Zotero error in there might be unrelated. To check, immediately before attempting to drag an item, go to the Tools menu, select Error Console, and click the Clear button. Look under the Actions menu and make sure Report Errors is disabled (gray). Then try a drag, and check if Report Errors became active. If so, post any errors it provides.
Also, just to be sure, you're not trying to drag an item into a collection where it already exists, right?
Dan -- I've been seeing this behavior as well. And no, I'm not trying to drag an item into a collection to which it already belongs (which, BTW, should yield some feedback). But Zotero doesn't report an error on it. [shrug]
Well, I just went to check Report Errors, and now it's working just fine. Don't know what happened, but it seems to have fixed itself. For reference though, I am on Windows XP.
