this.namereg[pkey].ikey[ikey] is undefined: Report 1520841434

I just upgraded Zotero. Now sometimes I can add a citation, but more often, when I try to click "okay" to add my footnote data, I can't. If I hit cancel, I then get the error message "this.namereg[pkey].ikey[ikey] is undefined."

I sent a report (no. 1520841434).

I don't know if it's related, but when I close Firefox, it says when I reopen it that MacWord Zotero has been updated and I have to close Word and reopen it for the updates to take place. Which I do/did.

I'm on a deadline with a document that has 150 citations in Zotero, and I can't get it to add more properly. Any help SO appreciated.

Thanks,
Sara
  • Sara,

The developers may be able to point more firmly at the cause after looking at the report you have submitted; but I'm looking at possible causes of this in the processor, and I have a question. Are there uncited items in the document that produces the error (i.e. items that you have inserted via the Edit Bibliography button using the word processor plugin)?
  • Another immediate question is whether you have "track changes" enabled in the word processor. This is known to cause problems. (If it is currently enabled, setting aside a copy of the document in its current state, accepting all changes, and turning it off may avoid the error.)
  • Final question ...
I don't know if it's related, but when I close Firefox, it says when I reopen it that MacWord Zotero has been updated and I have to close Word and reopen it for the updates to take place. Which I do/did.
Does this mean that Firefox is offering to update the MacWord Zotero plugin every time you restart, or that it was upgraded only once?
