MacWord 2011 - Unable to add citation

Zotero was installed and functionning since about a year and a half.
A few month ago, I've updated word to 2011 and Firefox to 4, and everything was still working.
For some reasons since a week when I try to add a citation, I can select my style and a book but when I click on "ok" to complete the process it has no effect, I have to cancel to go back to word with no citation added. No error message appear.
I've installed the newest Zotero version and the newest MacWord plugin and the newest PythonExt, but it does not seem to work.
I've also installed Zotero Trunk since I saw it was recommended for some problems... without any success.

What should I do?

    Does this happen in a new document? Can you re-trigger the issue and generate a report ID?

    It happens in new and old document.
    I've generated a report ID, the error message was: Invalid chrome URI: /
    And the report #: 1616930084

    Try disabling all non-Zotero Firefox extensions and see if that makes a difference.

    I encounter the same issue under Linux Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, using OpenOffice.org 3.2 and Firefox 3.6.15.

    Zotero is 2.1.6r9059, Openoffice extension is 3.5.a1

    This issue is new, everything was working OK until at least Monday.

    I disabled all Firefox extensions, tried to insert a citation in a new or old document, with different styles, restarted Firefox, OpenOffice, computer several time, reinstalled Word Processor extension, to no avail.

    Here the problem:
    1) in OpenOffice Writer click "insert citation"
    2) chose style in style window, click OK
    3) citation window appears
    4) choose one or several references
    5) click OK: nothing happens, no citation is inserted, no error is given, the citation window stays open
    6) click on "show editor" in the citation window: the editor field opens, it is empty.
    7) "Cancel" is working: citation window closes, you're back to Openoffice with no citation inserted, no footnote inserted and no error message.
    8) "Edit citation" on older references brings the same: citation window with unworking OK button, citation is not modified after "cancell" is clicked.

    I would greatly appreciate help.

    marcelli, that's a different issue. Try downgrading to the latest stable release (install again from zotero.org).

    marcelli, you can also try updating your branch build to r9065, as I think I've fixed this, but if you want things to be stable, you should stay on the stable release.

    Simon, can you try generating a debug ID? Unfortunately, the error report isn't giving me much to go on.

    I downgraded as you said, Simon, to 2.1.6. It is working fine now. The insert a citation issue is not there any more, it is working as it should.

    I'll generate a debug ID when I get the error the next time I upgrade (but r9065 should fix it, like you said).
