2.1.6: Translator hangs with Add-on "Update Scanner"

If you use the add-on "Update Scanner" [1] (version 3.1.3) with Zotero (version 2.1.6) and click on a link in Update Scanner, Firefox will use 100 % of the CPU and then shows a message if the script "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/translation/translate.js:995" should be stopped.

    Thanks for responding to this so quickly. The problem is that Update Scanner uses a data:// url to insert scanned pages into the browser, which leads to a very long URL.

    You can work around this by ignoring data:// URLs, or truncating URLs to a sensible length before running your regex.
