Error when Syncing (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED)

Here is what I was doing before the error:
1 Was cleaning up a Group folder.
2 Deleted the contents of Group folder, from within Zotero.
3 Then logged in and deleted the Group folder (ie online).
4 I then pressed the sync button and got the above error.

I can't but help to think that my client is trying to tell the server to delete a file, but I already removed the Group!!

Currently unable to Sync.
  • OK, I thought that this was a server side issue.
    I had left one file in the group, pdf view had crashed and left it locked. I guess my Zotero client was unable to delete it and so reported this error.
    A little more info in the error report might have been nice.

    I can now sync again without issue.
  • We've added a check for that error, with a more helpful message, in the latest dev build.
