Upgrade Storageproblem adding a new citation. Zotero tries instead to delete a previously existing citation

I got a message that Zotero needed to update my document, though I didn't note the reason. I clicked OK.
Then I tried to add a new citation to existing text. Zotero did not add it, but tried to delete a citation on another page. The error message I got was the one that was contained in the Error Report above.

adamsmithyes, almost certainly - Zotero and track changes don't work well together.
