chicago style letters are cited incorrectly
Zotero does not cite letters correctly according to Chicago style. Rather than describing the letter based on the author and recipient, it wants to use a letter title.
I need the footnote to look like this:
Joe Smith to Bob Johnson, 19 February 1938, Box 46, Johnson Papers, Manuscript Division, Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.
I have Bob Johnson entered as recipient, and I do not include a title. Yet this is what I get:
Joe Smith, February 19, 1938, Box 46, Johnson Papers, Manuscript Division, Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.
I'm using Chicago Manual of Style (Note without Bibliography, No Ibid.) (dev).
Why doesn't Zotero cite letters correctly? I've seen posts about this from 2007 and 2008, but I don't understand the answers. How can I fix this?
