Zotero Firefox addon not updating
Hi. I've got Firefox 3.6 on my work machine (Windoze) and 4.0 on my home machine (Mac), with the Zotero addon installed (2.0.9). On both machines, FF detects a newer version of the Zotero addon, 2.1.5, and tries to install it. There's a wait whilst FF is, improbably, trying to load a 4Gb file, then I get the error:
"invalid file hash -261"
so plainly the file's corrupted, or the hash is wrong. This occurs on both instances of Firefox. Is this a known problem? I searched the fora for '2.1.5' but didn't hit anything obvious about this error.
It's no big deal as the current addon works fine, and is indeed a fantastic tool which I feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon (I wrote a laudatory blog entry at http://webapps.nottingham.ac.uk/elgg/sonet/weblog/2726.html for colleagues at my institution). Thanks very much for making this available to the Whole Wide World.
Cheers
Fred
