Upgrade StorageHave Zotero notice its snapshots even if not opened from within Zotero?

would it be possible to have Zotero recognize a snapshot (and show the annotation bar etc.) even if the snapshot is opened externally (e.g. opening html file from the file browser)?
Example for usefulness: I would love to organize snapshots with FreeMind. You can link to files, but if you do and open them that way Zotero doesn't care and doesn't let you annotate etc.
It would be a wonderful function to have. Thank you for all your efforts and this astonishing program.

Zotero can't figure it out when a snapshot tab is reloaded, e.g. by refresh, tab close and restore, or Firefox session restore. And when people don't see their markup, they think it's gone for good and panic!
...is this a bug or a "feature"?
