Firefox 4.0 + Zotero 2.1.1 = Segmentation fault
Hi everybody!
I recently upgraded to Firefox 4.0 on my Gentoo system. At the same time, I also updated Zotero to version 2.1.1 that is supposed to work with this new Firefox version. However, when I tried to restart Firefox, I just get a segmentation fault. So the only solution was to start Firefox in safe-mode, disable Zotero and live without it for the moment. Does anybody have a clue what is going wrong with me?

SimonZotero doesn't contain any binary components, so it shouldn't be capable of causing a segmentation fault. This seems like a bug in Firefox or a configuration issue that affects some functionality that Zotero uses. Are you running a copy of Firefox 4 you compiled yourself or the binary from mozilla.com?

bjoernsIt's a self-compiled version, using the ebuild provided by gentoo linux.

SimonTry the mozilla.com binary. There may be an issue with the Gentoo build.
