Upgrade StorageOpen Office Extension not working. Help!

I recently updated to Firefox 4, and with it downloaded the new Zotero extension and OpenOffice integration extension (3.5a1). When I try to install the integration I get an error saying
"Installation could not be completed because an error occurred. Please ensure that OpenOffice.org is closed, and then restart Firefox."
Openoffice is closed, I've restarted firefox (and restarted my computer) I've uninstalled and then reinstalled the OpenOffice integration extension and I still get the same response. Help! My thesis is due in 3 weeks and relies heavily on Zotero....

I then uninstalled 3.5a1 and installed the old plug-in, and its now working fine.
