Placing an "add to zotero" button/link near references
Maybe it is not a Zotero specific question, but OpenURL related, but I am not sure, and I use Zotero, so I ask it here.
Is it possible to place an "Add to Zotero" button/link near the references in a webpage? Using this link one could add the selected reference to Zotero.
I maintain the site of my department. If there are several references on a page (e.g. a publication list), than I think it would be useful to be able to provide a direct link or button for every paper listed. If you bring up zotero and you want to select only a few papers out of e.g a hundred, than it is not so comfortable, at least for me. Is there a solution?

Longer-term, we could probably come up with better solutions that didn't rely on RIS and allowed for JS-based adding without additional requests (for example, via the zotero:// custom protocol handler). Coupled with an easy way to test for the presence of Zotero, sites could dynamically enhance pages for use with Zotero.
I've created a ticket.
There are downsides to page modification, but I think objections could just as easily be made for being able to test for Zotero (there could be privacy concerns in addition to the above).
If page rewriting were to be implemented, rather than "off" and "on," perhaps the settings could be to manually invoke it (through a key shortcut/button/context menu) or to have it automatically on.
