MLA Web Sources showing up as Print

When I generate or refresh my Zotero info, all my sources are listed as "Print," even the web pages. How do I change this in the database?

    For MLA, check the "include URLs" checkbox in the styles tab of the Zotero preferences.

    edit: that shouldn't happen for webpages, though. Do you have anything in the URL field in Zotero? The MLA style checks if an item has a DOI or a URL - if it has either it's considered a Web source.

    I thought I had a better version of MLA which included labels for movies and audio-recordings, but that doesn't seem to be online.

  • Including the URL got rid of the "Print" designation, but it's not including "Web" or anything else for media type.

    Where is the styles tab? I have the preferences window, but there doesn't seem to be a styles tab.

    BTW, I'm using the 2.1 beta.

    ah, ok that changes things. let me look into this (and there is no styles tab in 2.1b, so you didn't miss anything)

    It's under Cite->Styles in 2.1.
