Zotero word integration could not complete because an error occurred

Hi. I get the following error message popping up every time I open a new firefox window:

Zotero word integration could not complete because an error occurred.

IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: u'/Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Startup/Word/Zotero.dot'

When I click, 'OK', however, both Firefox, and Zotero, and the Word plug in seem to work fine. It's just annoying to get the error message. Report error generated the following error:

I have tried opening my word integration extension in my profile and clicking on the install file as suggested in one forum post, but nothing changed.

Any ideas?

    I'm experiencing the same problem. Doesn't seem to affect functionality, just annoying. Any ideas anyone? Zotero gurus? Here is my report ID: 1581558541.
    With regards to recreating it, it happens every time I start up my Firefox browser. I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.5 with Firefox 3.6.12.

    Generate a report ID (after re-triggering the error) and it will include the error.

    OK. I entered the Report ID in my previous post. It is 1581558541.

    Anyone able to give any help on this one. Still got the same problem, still no nearer a solution. Any help much appreciated. Tabarone, are you still having the same problem?

    I am still encountering the same problem. It is annoying. I've thought about reinstalling an older version of Zotero but haven't done it yet. I agree that any help would be good.

    The permissions on the /Applications/Microsoft Office 2004/Office/Startup/Word directory are set so that the user you're logged in as can't write to them. Find this directory, go to "Get Info," and give yourself privileges to write to it.
