Hello,

I'm French and I just discover this software. It's very great. But I also use very often the National French Library Catalog, for my job, and i would like to import book's information from this site : http://catalogue.bnf.fr . Is it something possible ?

A new BNF translator was developed back in October (https://www.zotero.org/trac/changeset/7021), and I think it should work.

What version of Zotero are you using, and what page were you trying to save (post the URL here)?

"Latest" isn't really specific enough, since there are multiple latest versions.

But it's 2.0.9. From the error report:

TypeError: url[0] is undefined

BNF was fixed before 2.0.9, so it should be the latest version.

Yeah-- I'm getting this in FF 4 and Zotero 2.1 beta as well. Looking into it.

Please go to https://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/Bibliothèque nationale de France.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). Then reload the BNF page and try to save items.

This seems to address most of the problem, although there are some odd errors on some items. Please post here with your feedback.

Pushed. Those waiting for a fix, your copy of Zotero should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Now in the General pane of the Zotero prefs.

Was it really broken that long? I'm surprised that Florian didn't notice it / mention it in the meantime.

Still, apologies to all of our BNF patrons. Complain louder next time and I'll try to be more prompt.

No problem. I had sent an email to Florian. (But I don't use the BNF translator a lot, so this has not disturbed me.)
