Add/Edit Citation - Authors Listed

In the Add/Edit Citation dialog box for the MS Word plugin, when an article has more than 2 authors, the author listing is Author1 et al. Is there a way to have that display at least the first 2-3 authors rather than only the first?

The difficulty is having 5+ articles each with the same 1st author and not being able to select the correct article by author listing alone.

    Technically, it should be possible to extend the number of names included. There would be a question of how it should be controlled ... and whether it happens would depend on available developer time, and on how much demand there is out there.

    This thread can be a magnet for requests.
