Thanks for the prompt reply, Dan. I have no spyware or antivirus installed. UAC is disabled and again AFAIK macro control is not the problem. The same problem occurs with macro settings wide open. The closest thing I would have to AV software is the Covenant Eyes monitoring software but AFAIK this does not filter any connections.
If I disconnect from my wireless connection Zotero works fine. It would be nice if I could use the internet and the Zotero plugin simultaneously. Is there anything else I could check to see why I can't do both concurrently?
