Error processing uploaded data (Report ID: de46c697)

I get an error, when I try to upload files. Report id: 1862729883.
  • Is this persistent? Usually errors of this sort are intermittent and can be safely ignored.

Personnally I got the same kind of errors since yesterday :

Error processing uploaded data (Report ID: 306053db)

    Details :

[JavaScript Error: "[Exception... "'Error processing uploaded data (Report ID: 306053db)' when calling method: [nsIDOMEventListener::handleEvent]" nsresult: "0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]"]

    Since my firefox session started

I get that error on both my computers.

The first run on Win7 and a french version of Firefox 3.6.13
The second is on Ubuntu 10.10 and a french version of Firefox 3.6.13

I need my sync bad for tomorrow, if I can get a few lead on what could be behind the problem I would appreciate :)

    Thx!
  • I still get the same error after 2 days :

    ID of error : 1966654513

Error processing uploaded data (Report ID: bd36da71)

[JavaScript Error: "[Exception... "'Error processing uploaded data (Report ID: bd36da71)' when calling method: [nsIDOMEventListener::handleEvent]" nsresult: "0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)" location: "<unknown>" data: no]"]

[JavaScript Error: "Error processing uploaded data (Report ID: bd36da71)" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/sync.js" line: 872}]

    I don't have a clue why...
  • These errors aren't related (so foodle777, it's better to start new threads for sync issues), but:

KarenL: When you installed Zotero your system clock was messed up. Delete the Zotero quick start guide (which has a date from the year 2099) and empty your trash. Then try syncing again.

foodle777: Your error should now be fixed.
  • Yes it is :)

    Thx!

Sorry for the mess up threads... ;P
  • Thank you Dan for your help. I'm happy you found out what my problem is.
But how do I delete the "Zotero quick start guide"?
  • It's just one of the items in your library. Find it as you'd find any other item and delete it.
  • I found it. Perfect. It looks like it works. Thank you so much!
