LibreOffice Integration

Hi.

I'm getting an error message trying to insert references w/ LibreOffoice integration on Ubuntu. I have tried re-installing the extension several times.

My paths are set to:
file:///usr/lib/openoffice/basis-link/ure-link/share/java/
file:///usr/lib/openoffice/program/

My Java setting on L.O. is:

/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-1.6.0.22/jre

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    "an error message" isn't really helpful. What is the error message? Which of the steps in the troubleshooting page have you taken?

    "Zotero experienced an error updating your document" Pretty generic. Like I said above, I have re-installed to no avail. I went through the troubleshooting list as supplied, nothing there seems to deal with the problem I'm having (installation went smoothly, nothing about a Java problem in the error message).

    does that happen in a fresh document, too?

    Fresh documents and old documents with references inserted from when I ran OO produce the same results, yes.

    Do you get the error on the first citation inserted in the document, or after several citations have been added? (edit: Also, is this with Zotero 2.1?)

    I have not been able to add any citations after switching to LO, so "after the first citation." Like I said above, older docs will no longer let me add or edit any citations. Using 2.0.9 EDIT--and OO integration 3.0b2

    UPDATE--after reading the troubleshooting post above, I removed the extension via the extension manager in LO and uninstalled from Zotero. Upon re-install, I am now unable to see the extension buttons in LO and the extension does not appear in the LO extension manager.

    To re-install the component, you need to follow these instructions.

    If you re-install the components and you still experience an error, if you can provide a report ID, it would help us understand why you're experiencing an error.
