Can not use syncing

Error was reported but I get error number 1040956240. I am supposed to post it in the forums, so that I can get help

    Adam, right now it is working but what usually happens I get "Password not set" and when I open Preferences and put put the password (as I remember) I get an error report. When I sign in through Zotero website my password is fine.

    then you did something wrong with the password - that's pretty much the only reason you'd get that error.

    I am getting an error on this also (error 2128189053). I am running Zotero in Firefox on Mac Snow Leopard for months without a problem - syncing with Apples' Mobile Me webdav service.

    In Standalone I have imported the Firefox settings and can 'verify the server' on the settings page OK. But sync definitely does not work - it gives a missing password error.

    eamonodoherty: Have you entered both your zotero.org credentials and your WebDAV credentials?

    Dan, you got it ! Apologies but my zotero.org password differs from my WebDAV one - a small matter that I forgot.

    Sync is working fine, and I will get testing.
