Firefox 4 beta10(pre) + Zotero 2.1beta3: cannot update database
Hi,
I am trying the daily firefox beta (pre-10 from the ubuntu ppa) along with the zotero beta 2.1b2. I did this on my work computer today, and after unzipping the zotero xpi, everything went fine.
But now at home I did the same thing, but installed the zotero 2.1b3 which was just released - no uncompressing xpi needed, but the import of the database fails when starting firefox4, with the following error:
INSERT INTO "syncObjectTypes" VALUES(1, 'collection');
INSERT INTO "syncObjectTypes" VALUES(2, 'creator');
INSERT INTO "syncObjectTypes" VALUES(3, 'item');
INSERT INTO "syncObjectTypes" VALUES(4, 'search');
INSERT INTO "syncObjectTypes" VALUES(5, 'tag');
INSERT INTO "syncObjectTypes" VALUES(6, 'relations');
] [ERROR: database table is locked: sqlite_master]
I sent the report #708304558
Note that this install is made on a separate profile from my firefox3.6 - the import is done by firefox on startup.

dstillmanDid you install Zotero Standalone, or is this just in Zotero for Firefox?
-
vincefnThat's just Zotero for Firefox.
-
dstillmanQuit Firefox and check your running processes to see if it's actually closed. Then restart Firefox.
-
vincefnAlready did that - in fact I just rebooted my computer for just that purpose, and started Firefox4 - same result.
