Automatic blog recognition

Zotero does a great job of automatically recognizing Item Types such as journal articles and news articles, i.e., via the icon that appears in the address bar (e.g., New York Times). It would be great if it could automatically recognize a wider range of blogs (e.g., Mashable, Gizmodo, O'Reilly Radar) so that the user did not have to manually select Item Type from the list of menu items. Thanks.

    Agreed (but I wouldn't limit it to blogs).

    If you just means supporting more sites with site translators -- yes, that would be great, but each of those translators needs to be written and maintained.

    I do think that the Create Item from Current Page could be made smarter.
