Downgrading

I somehow installed the beta version of zotero and I can't find the macword integration for this version. I tried deleting this version to install the previous version of zotero and I keep getting a pop up that says, 'my library is using a newer version of zotero and I need to upgrade'. How do I completely remove this beta version from my computer?
has both links to the plugin and instructions for reverting to 2.0
  • I'm still lost. Where do I find my database cause I tried logging in and deleting my library but it's still there.
  • no. Your database is on your computer.
    http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data -
(that's linked to from the downgrading instructions, too).
  • I found where the data was and I followed the instructions, then i downloaded zotero 2.0.9 and when i tried to cite in word, i'm getting this message 'This menu contains apple scripts and automator workflows for microsoft word. To add a script to this menu, copy it to the word script menu items folder located in your documents/microsoft uder data folder'. Was I supposed to delete all these files (zotero.sqlite, zotero.sqlite-journal, zotero.sqlite.1.bak, zotero.sqlite.74.bak, zotero.sqlite.bak) before downgrading.
  • I'm not sure what causes that error message - I've never seen it.
But the problem at this point is with the word integration - you don't need to delete any of the files you mention. If your database opens in Zotero 2.0.9 you did everything right with the downgrade.
  • That's just the message if you select "About This Folder" in the Word script menu—it has nothing to do with Zotero.

If you don't see Zotero in that menu, reinstall the Word for Mac plugin for Zotero 2.0.
