rdf file can't be imported?

Hi,

For some reason rdf file (from Vista) can't be imported. I was able to do import to my XP in the past and it worked. Today, I upgraded my Vista to Windows 7 and it doesn't import. Please help..all the important stuff is in it.

    Can you provide a report ID after re-triggering the error?

    Also, if you are using this as a way to migrate your database, note that RDF is not the recommended way to do so-- just copy your Zotero data directory from the old computer to the new one. See http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data for details.

    I can't provide the Report ID
    Zotero version: 2.0.9
    Firefox version: 3.6.13
    and operating system : windows 7


    When I created the import file, it was in a previous Firefox version before 3.6.13 and in Windows Vista.

    @ajlyon: i wish i knew that before i made an import rdf file. it worked in the past, which is why I made the file this time.

    What's happening when you try to import the file?

    Anna - this should certainly work, it just has a number of downsides - most importantly any documents you have authored won't be recognized by Zotero - that's why it's not recommended to move a database using RDF
    You don't have your old files anymore?
