Error after Attaching Snapshot to Item in Group Folder

Hi Zotero Team,
Zotero reports "An error has occurred. Please restart Firefox'.
After "Attaching snapshot of Current Page" to an item in a group folder.
Using local storage (no zotero or webdav).
Firefox: 3.6.13.
Zotero: 2.0.9.
See 1414622910.
1st instance of this bug.
I will update again if it repeats.

  • disk I/O error
    This isn't a Zotero problem. There's something wrong with your disk (or disk access).
  • From your debug output it looks like you're using a network drive. That may be the source of the problem. Try a local disk instead.

    We are using the Network drive to allow us to share attachments (just the storage folder is shared).
    Yes, I know that is what the Webdav is for, but it doesn't support Groups.

    Is there a known problem with using a Network Drive?

  • There are all kinds of network drives, and all kinds of network environments. We can't support them individually, I'm afraid. If they work, they work. If they don't, they're breaking some standard filesystem behavior.

    We have been noticing that attaching a snapshot takes a long time (10-20 seconds), assuming this is due to our network drive.
    So there is another reason to move back to our local drive.
    We will look at other options for syncing our storage between multiple users, like iFolder.
