Installed but not active

Have installed Zotero 1.01, with Firefox 2.0.0.11. Installs fine, but does not appear to run. Vanilla XP environment. Only thing of note is that I also have FF 3 installed, but I am not using it with Zotero? Suggestions?

WHen I say it does not appear to be running, I mean that I do not see the Zotero logo on the bottom bar of the browser, as promised.

    It sounds like you may using the same profile for Firefox 2 and Firefox 3. Is that right?

    If so, that may be the source of the problem since Zotero 1.01 isn't compatible with Firefox 3. (In fact, you can force Zotero to install using the Nightly Tester Tools extension, and it seems to work, but I wouldn't trust my data to that kind of setup.)

    Yep, I reverted to FF V2.. it was a bit bloody, but zotero now works on the base station. Thanks for the idea. Problem closed.
