InfoTrac Translator Error: Please help! (Gale c19 Newspapers)

I'm trying to access c19 Newspapers and I keep getting the "Could Not Save Item" error message. Zotero and Firefox are both up-to-date, as are my translators. I tried with a VPN server and with my local library connection. I can't get any articles to save, and I'm working with over 100 articles from Infotrac. Please, help?
  • I should add, there isn't any mention in the "known errors" section of Zotero, but on the forums, I did find this ticket:

    https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/1605

It appears the whole c19 Newspapers doesn't work with Zotero, even though Zotero is suppose to be able to handle Infotrac documents? Is there any way to resolve this?

    Thank you!
  • the known error page is not always up to date - I've added Gale now - we'll have to see when someone finds the time to fix this.
  • Thanks, Adam. I know you've seen that this error has been mentioned several times. Is there anyway you know of to bring it to Zotero's attention? It's a fairly major database, particularly for historians, to have not work...

    Thank you!
  • oh, everyone is aware of this - there's just only so much work they can do and the main person fixing translators at the moment (who also knows abou this) is a grad student who does it in his free time.
  • Any chance of this getting fixed soon? Looks like the ticket has been open for 16 months.
