AMA style - shouldn't have brackets around access date; needs period after URL

Hello. I am really liking Zotero so far but am having a style issue. I really need the American Journal of Public Health, but that specific style is still in development and the formatting isn't correct. AJPH uses AMA, 10th ed (more or less, the few examples AJPH gives seem to have a few differences), so I'm using AMA instead. It's almost correct, except for a few minor issues. The most pressing: the access date for electronic resources has brackets around it, when it should not, and the URL should have a period at the end
E.g., the reference for a web page appears like this:
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Reporting on suicide: recommendations for the media. Available at: http://www.afsp.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.viewpage&page_id=7852EBBC-9FB2-6691-54125A1AD4221E49 [Accessed November 29, 2010].

(sorry for the long URL!)
the end of the example should read:
9FB2-6691-54125A1AD4221E49. Accessed November 29, 2010.

I'm looking at the examples here: http://ajph.aphapublications.org/misc/ama_references.dtl#web, but it's the same for the general AMA sites I've searched.

Is it possible to fix that centrally, or do I need to "doctor" the style myself?

FYI, I'm using Zotero 2.0.9, win xp, Word plug-in.

Thank you!
Linda
  • confirmed and fixed - check the repository for the changed AMA style - you'll know it's updated once you see today's date after the style. Update by re-installing.
  • Thanks for the quick service! I installed the updated style and reran the bib, and I'm still seeing the same thing (brackets, no period.) I can see that I'm choosing the new style from Word b/c it now says (dev). Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks again!
  • switch to any other style and back.
  • Genius! It worked. Thank you so much, you just made my night!
