Patent PDF troubles

I am just started a new job and have started using Zotero. I figured since I was starting fresh acquiring papers and patents, I might as well start organizing them. Anyway, I have downloaded a few patents in PDF form from google patent, when I load them into my zotero library, I am unable to retrieve the meta data. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jesse

    Zotero uses google scholar for retrieve metadata - it won't work for patents.
    Your best cause of action will likely be to first get the patent data from one of the standard sites and then attach the pdf manually.
