Endnote X2 on Mac and pdf import
Hello All,
After some coquetting with Zotero I decided to fully switch to it from Endnote X2. I have been using Endnote since the version 5 and all my libraries have survived several conversions as the Endnote was developing. Maybe because of that my files have a long names such as
0941279488ase role in#3CCB8.pdf
Now I follow the steps from this website to change the RIS file so that Zotero will find the pdfs. It all seems to work well, however after import I cannot open any files. The reason seems to be that file name of the pdf is changed from 0941279488ase role in#3CCB8.pdf to 0941279488ase role in. Zotero does seem to discard everything after the sign #.
When I delete the "#" from the file name it is all working well - pdfs are imported and found.
Has anybody had similar problem? Can you please help me to rectify that?
Thanks in advance,

You can replace the # with '%23' in your RIS file or you may rename the PDFs.
