The International Journal of Organic Evolution
Hi,
I have a particularly type "A" professor who assigned me a 15 page review paper (due in about a month), not to worried about it, accept he is asking for the citations in the style of the "international journal of organic evolution" (sometimes shortened to "Evolution")
since i have become so accustomed to using Zotero, and spreading the good news and gospel of across my campus, I was wondering if there was someone who could help me understand how to create it on my own, or who could create it, otherwise i may end up having to type it out (AAARGH!) Its not really a big deal but i would love some feed back...
...i think my professor did look through the entire list and picked that style specifically because Zotero doesn't have it, and he's bitter about paying for refworks anyways...
Thanks

there is currently a back-log creating styles, so I would encourage you to first try by yourself. If you have questions we're happy to help.
How do I go about sharing it?
JacksonBC, you can send me a PM if you are still interested..
Heck yes i'm interested
http://www.mediafire.com/file/4jomcyy1xe79yt6/chicago-evolution-author-date.csl
Just drag the file to your firefox or go to zotero's preferences -> styles and add this file there (press the "+" button). hope it works for you.
Could you add the CC license (check the other styles currently in the repository)?
Also, I'd suggest using the full journal title in the name and if there is a style guide, the style should link to it.
You can add the CC license and make all the changes you want to the filename or otherwise. Here's the link to the instructions:
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/10.1111/%28ISSN%291558-5646/homepage/ForAuthors.html
I'd do it myself but honestly, I found the instructions for repository submissions very confusing. Maybe there could be an easier way to submit new styles...

Sorry about that.
Could you post the evolution.csl file again? Your links are all dead. Thanks a lot!
Does anyone have the formatting file?
Thanks!
I would like also to use this style,
can someone upload the style in the style repository?
Thanks !
I used the style "journal of evolutionary biology" as a template and I uploaded the result here :

Maybe someone can upload it in the repository if there is no bug.
Thanks
