"Error processing uploaded data" message when syncing

I can't offer any specific guidance as to how to reproduce this error. It simply happens when I attempt to sync.

Firefox 3.6.12 on Mac OS X 10.6

    I have the same problem: "Error processing upload data" message when syncing. I tried to install the new version of Zotero (2.1 beta) and restart Firefox but the problem is still there.

    Could it be because I had multiple Firefox windows open, and I was using Zotero on two of them at once? (Apologies, I'm new to this whole Zotero thing.)

    I can't help with an error diagnosis, but Reseting syncing appears to resolve the issue (Preferences --> Sync --> Reset).

    Be sure to choose the reset option to suit your situation and make a backup copy of your local Zotero library first!

    I am having trouble syncing - getting an error message:
    Error processing uploaded data (Report ID: 8269a39f)
    I think that it may be because I made inputted an entry from a web document (and it put data into a field that Zotero doesn't allow). A similar thing happened last summer. Then I was able to delete the entry and it synced fine.
    This time, I deleted all entries that I put in since my last successful synch (less than ten) but I am still getting the error. I logged off and restarted my computer to see if it would clear some hidden cache but that didn't work either.
    Can you help?

    I don't know if the situation resolved itself of if someone helped me behind the scenes but it is synching just fine now. I have been using Zotero for two years to organize my various academic projects and it continues to be easy (and a pleasure) to use. I recommend it to my colleagues all the time.
