Syntax for acronyms

I have been away for some time now.
Can someone help me with a syntax for acronyms.
For example if the title field in Zotero Csl contains say "Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change".But the author field contains none and Date 2007, the citation should be
(IPPC, 2007) instead of (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, 2007)

    Zotero cannot automatically create acronyms.

    But if this is a title, then you should be able to set the Short Title field.

    Hi ajlyon I tried setting the Short Title field but it seems not working. Do you have an idea of how to do it? Will appreciate it if you can get me a sample example.

    If what you have is a creator (author) name, then there is currently no way to provide a short form for author names. If the document title should be shorter, the short title field can help-- but it doesn't look like that's what you have here.

    Yes it is the short title field I meant which seems not working. You know the variable title maps to the Title in the long form and Short Title in the short form as mentioned in the guide but it does not work when I put something in the Short Title field.
