restoring Zotero commands in OpenOffice

I set up Zotero with OpenOffice on my Ubuntu system and it worked like a dream! I closed the panel with the Zotero commands, and can't figure out how to show it again! I even tried removing and reinstalling the extension, but this doesn't work. The extension manager says Zotero is enabled, but I can't see it on my OpenOffice toolbars!
