How to import a citation from an older Zotero library
Hi, all,
I'm having trouble importing a number of citations and their notes I created with an older version of Zotero. I've tried exporting from the older version library, but Export doesn't seem to work anymore, perhaps because I don't have the older version of Zotero anymore.
Ideas?

What do you mean with "citations" - in a document or just Zotero items?
If the latter, you could just install Zotero 1.0.10 in a separate Firefox profile, open the library and export as RDF.
If we're talking citations in a document things will be a bit more complicated.
If that doesn't answer your question you'll need to provide more details and specifics on what you're trying to do.
I did try opening them with another machine running an older version of Zotero, but it seems these items are in a library that I already upgraded with more recent Zotero versions. I discovered this when I tried to export them as you suggested and got an error that flagged the version issue,
Thanks for assist.

I tried again to export old items and re-import, as Adam suggested, and it finally worked. Thanks.
