Every time I enter a note, it automatically write "25 Oct 04" on the top. Any ideas why it is doing this?

    So, to be clearer, it happens everytime I post into Zotero. I typically write notes in Microsoft Word on a source and then paste the notes. However, every time I do that, the top left corner of the note says 25 Oct 04.

    I don't know if this would be related, but I also can't adjust the size of the Zotero window. I can do full screen. If I do lower, it fills up about 80% of the screen, and if I go to the edge the cursor changes into the figure that indicates I can change the size, but I am unable to do so.

    Let me know if more details would be useful.

    Pasting from Microsoft Word can cause funny issues -- does the date appear when you post from other places?

    As for resizing the pane, that sounds like an incompatible extension-- try disabling all Firefox add-ons except for Zotero and restarting Firefox.

    Shrink the tag selector in the bottom left first.
