Unable to launch Firefox after upgrading to Zotero 2.0.9

Hi all,

two days ago I've upgraded my Zotero installation to 2.0.9 and since then I am unable to launch Firefox. I've the last Firefox version (3.6.10) on a MAC computer with Leopard Snow.
Could you please help me?

What happens when you try?

Hi Dan,

when i click with the mouse on the Firefox icon in the Dock, the Firefox icon bounches 2 seconds as if it was going to open the application as always happens, and then stops.
If i point and click the Firefox icon in the Application folder in the Finder, nothing happens.

First, start Firefox in Safe Mode, uninstall Zotero (which doesn't affect your data, though you can always make a backup of your Zotero data directory for good measure), and restart Firefox to see if this is actually a Zotero-related issue.

Hi,

thanks for the suggestion. After starting Firefox in safe mode and then exiting (without uninstalling Zotero) now I can launch Firefox in normal mode.
I've no idea why only by doing so I am now able again to use Firefox. Anyway now it works.
