Sort by 'date added' should default to sorting newest items to top
when clicking to sort by 'Date added' (and possibly other date columns?), the first click/sort sorts oldest items to the top and then you have to click again to sort the most recent items to the top. That's illogical. Default sort should be newest at the top as they're the ones you're most likely to be working with.

adamsmithI don't think the default sort order can be changed by column - right now it's ascending and I believe most people would probably be surprised if sorting by title or author would put Zs first. So that's probably going to stay the way it is - but since you know it, double clicking really doesn't even cost you half a second.

Simonedited October 13, 2010Clicking the column header a second time switches the ordering for all columns. I don't think that this is too much to ask.

Paul HeggartyBut it would still definitely be better to set the default for Date added as R Kiver suggests. It's surely also not so much to ask the developers either?

adamsmithre-read my comment. It's not that simple.

fjduI hope the sorting method used by the user the last time be remembered.
